Meet The Team Behind VY Nutrition
Our mission is to empower you to eat healthily while living a fast-paced life.
Jamie Lawlor
Director and Co-Founder of VY Nutrition
In my experience working with people from all walks of life, nutrition has been foundational to good health, happiness and high performance. Nutrition is often the difference-maker for people who work hard, whether at home, in the office or on the sports field.
At the same time, our relationship with food tends to be very personal, often complicated, and positive change is rarely straightforward. Having the support of a coach who understands these challenges and has the tools to guide you forward can be life-changing.
At the heart of VY is an intention to combine nutritional science and expertise with world-class, compassionate coaching.
Sarah McGrath
Director and Co-Founder of VY Nutrition
Embarking on the journey of setting up VY is a truly personal one. I have always had a passion for nutrition which led me to seek out an understanding of how food can impact your mind and body. It’s a gift to yourself when you invest your time in making real habitual changes to your lifestyle and nutrition. The journey requires an open mind and an understanding that we are human. It takes time and focus, but I assure you it is the best investment you will make.
The coaches at VY understand the rollercoaster that comes with change, especially with nutrition, as our nutrition habits form in our infant years. We cater to those who need intense support and to those to need some guidance and ideas. No task is too big or small.

Aine
VY Nutrition Coach
Aine’s passion for performance nutrition developed through her love for food and sports and how they go hand in hand.
While studying for her MSc, Aine’s research involved understanding GAA athletes’ nutrition knowledge and dietary intake. As a result, Aine promotes the message that knowledge is power in performance nutrition – educating athletes, professionals or amateurs on how nutrition can positively or negatively affect performance during training, competitions and recovery.
Aine holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Health Science and Physiology from the Institute of Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Public Health and Health Promotion from the Institute of Technology and a Master of Science (MSc) in Human Nutrition from Ulster University.
Aine is an avid gaelic footballer and is currently playing at county level. Aine strives to perform at a high level, week in and week out. She supports her gaelic training with resistance training, yoga and running. Aine is passionate about cooking and baking and regularly tries to come up with new recipes to share with clients.
